For the past 25 years I have worked as a plant manager in multiple domestic facilities for two of the largest coatings manufacturers in the United States. In addition to those responsibilities, I have been extensively involved in process improvement, operational effectivity enhancement, layout optimization, and process configuration. I retired early to pursue personal interests. Upon retirement I joined Lehigh University Enterprise System Center mentoring students and working with clients. I am a partner/winemaker in a local winery where I designed and built a complete winery production operation capable of producing 150,000 bottles annually, complete with automation to enable one operator to function independently on a daily basis along with part time assistance when needed on weekends. I am currently designing and building a distillery operation to complement the winery. I am also consulting with other wineries and distilleries to assist in process improvement, space utilization and overall business optimization.
